Transforming
Eating Obsessions Group Information |
This 8 Week Weight Management group
is offered as an alternative to
drugs, diets and medical treatment.
This group focuses on the holistic,
mind-body approach and utilizes
Hypnosis, Interactive Imagery and
Inner Work to help you become aware
of the subconscious part of you that
sabotages your success. You will
learn to make an ally with this part
and to harness its positive
strengths so you can succeed. Since
eating patterns are often linked to
complicated issues, this mind-body
holistic approach increases
awareness about eating behaviors,
patterns and rituals.
If you want to lose weight, promote
self esteem, self awareness and self
appreciation, this is the group for
you. A hypnosis CD and workbook are
included in the group fee to help
reinforce positive change.
Additional weight loss and personal
growth CDs are available at a
special group rate.
Weekly hypnosis/interactive imagery
sessions are given in the groups to
facilitate change. Some topics
addressed are: boosting self esteem,
increasing motivation, joining with
your inner saboteur, developing self
compassion, controlling emotional
eating, eliminating
carbohydrate/sugar cravings,
discovering your inner wise self,
improving your body image,
unleashing your personal power;
ending binge eating and becoming
un-stuck from the past. Each week
builds on the past week's topic.
You will be assigned a mastermind
partner for the 8 weeks who will
team up with you for weekly support.
The two of you will review your
weekly master mind exercise with
each other. Your partner will
provide you with a way to process
challenges and to support you to
make weekly changes.
Because this is a group environment
I cannot address each persons
individual issues on a weekly basis.
I do offer private sessions for
those who believe they need
individual help.
Groups are small and fill quickly,
